3 Topics To Write About For My Reasearch Paper

1.) My first possible topic for my research paper is: Does Adderall have more of a mental effect on a person or more of a physical effect? I've heard a lot about the drug Adderall and the wide use of it by high school and college students nationwide. It's a drug that many people are prescribed for ADD and is also very easily attainable for anyone seeking it. But are the effects of the drug strictly a mental thing, or does it really have physical effects?

2.) My second possible topic choice for my research paper is : Why not let players use steroids and baseball? Steroids have been the talk off baseball for the last 10 years and baseball officials have been doing all they can to try to erase the any trace of the drug from the game. But some also would argue that they should be allowed in the game. If everyone is allowed to use them then it wouldn't be cheating, arguably. It would also make for better entertainment seeing players hit home runs more often. Would it be that bad to allow the drug in the sport?

3.) My last possible topic choice for my research paper is: Why is spitting tobacco being more widely used by underage children everyday? Spitting tobacco has been around for a very long time and it's mostly associated with the older male population, but chew is getting more and more widely used across the US by younger and younger children everyday. What is it about chew that makes the younger population want to do so badly?

Previous Research Experience

Ever since I was in 6th grade I've basically had at least one research project to do every year in school for one class or another. I personally do not like doing them. It's a very long and tedious process doing a whole research project and it requires spending a lot of time outside of class getting them done. The last major research assignment I had was last year in my English class at Penn State Behrend. My professor had the class write numerous research papers on topics of her choosing. They all had to meet a certain criteria as far as format and a lot of sources had to be used. I didn't like the class at all. Researching really isn't my thing although I do think I got a B in the class.
